The guys react to the Commanders 33-31 win over the Seahawks. Seattle's first loss of the season and first loss since Week 11 of last year against the Rams. Byron and Derick share their takeaways from watching the game film. They talk about the things the Dark Side Defense did well as well as where they need to improve. The guys also give Marcus Mariota credit for 3 touchdown passes to zero turnovers as well as finishing out the game on the final drive.. The duo also share Niko what road games are like and how to stay awake and pass the time on team flights.
Byron and Derick talk about how nice it is to have QB1 Sam Darnold back on the field. The guys talk about how athletic and comfortable the quarterback looked after suffering an injury in Week 1's win over the Patriots. After that, we preview the upcoming Week 4 matchup with the Chargers. Derick remembers defeating LA QB Justin Herbert when he was at Oregon in the 2019 season opener at Cowboys AT&T Stadium. The guys also discuss a special family rivalry taking place this weekend. Hawks special teams coordinator Jay Harbaugh and his father Jim Harbaugh who is the head coach of the Chargers will face off for the ultimate family bragging rights of the season.
Finally, Byron and Derick answer a fan question about living in Seattle. The Texas and Mississippi natives share their favorite things about living The Emerald City and how the Seattle community has embraced them. Not to mention, some can't miss talk about seafood and the Seattle food scene.
