Two people were rescued after an SUV went over a rock wall embankment in Lynnwood Thursday morning and ended up suspended above another vehicle, according to South County Fire.
Firefighters responded to the scene on 36th Avenue West around 9:30 a.m. and found the SUV vertically suspended and resting on another car below.
A power pole cable was stopping the SUV from sliding further down, South County Fire said.
Crews stabilized the vehicle using chains and straps to anchor the SUV’s axles directly to a ladder truck. Once the SUV was secured, firefighters opened the driver’s door and rescued both people inside.
No one was hurt, South County Fire said.
