Seattle Police are investigating a domestic violence incident in the 900 block of Golf Drive South that resulted in an officer-involved shooting.
Seattle Police are investigating a domestic violence call that ended in an officer-involved shooting on Golf Drive South Friday.
Officers responded to reports of an assault at 8:09 a.m. in the 900 block of Golf Drive South.
Police found a man at the scene with a head wound and provided aid until the Seattle Fire Department arrived. Paramedics took the man to the hospital, where he was alert and conscious.
A woman suspected in the assault remained inside the apartment home as officers tried to contact her, police said.
Police were seen entering the Beacon Pacific Village Apartments, across from the Former U.S. Marine Hospital Building.

At some point, one officer fired their weapon, striking and injuring the suspect, according to police.
That same officer was injured by the suspect before they were taken into custody, police said.
Based on the Seattle Police Department’s exit from the Federal Consent Decree in September 2025, the Seattle Police Department must now adhere to Washington State law for any use of deadly force by an officer.
SPD is subject to an independent investigation led by the Independent Force Investigation Team of King County (IFIT KC). All further information related to this investigation will come from that office.
The suspect is now in custody and receiving treatment for injuries at the scene, police said.
