Seattle Children’s has been named one of the nation’s 10 best pediatric hospitals for the third consecutive year in U.S. News & World Report’s 2026-27 rankings.
The hospital ranked No. 1 in Washington and tied for No. 1 in the Pacific region, which includes Alaska, California, Hawaii, Oregon and Washington.
Seattle Children’s earned a national ranking in all 11 pediatric specialties in which it was evaluated. Four placed in the top 10: nephrology at No. 3, cancer at No. 5, diabetes and endocrinology at No. 9, and pulmonology at No. 9.
“Earning a spot among the nation’s top 10 children’s hospitals for the third consecutive year is a testament to every team member who shows up daily with purpose and dedication,” Seattle Children’s CEO Dr. Christopher A. Longhurst said.
The rankings are based on factors including patient outcomes, clinical resources, compliance with established best practices, and health equity. U.S. News also surveys pediatric specialists about hospitals in their fields.
