A collision involving two fleeing suspects blocked three left lanes of southbound Interstate 5 and the HOV lanes in both directions in Lynnwood on Monday.

The crash happened shortly after 8 p.m., just north of 164th Street Southwest, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

According to the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office, South County deputies began pursuing a car that was believed to have been stolen at Home Depot near Airport Road and Highway 99 in Everett.

The car, which had two men inside, went east on Airport Road, then south on I-5, where the car entered a median and rolled over near the 15500 block.

No other vehicles were involved.

At one point, three left lanes of southbound I-5 were blocked along with the northbound I-5 HOV lane.

By 9:17 p.m., only the HOV lane was closed in each direction.

The scene was fully cleared shortly before 11 p.m.
