Seattle residents have a unique opportunity to connect with others and their community this fall. The "Best Day Ever" event series offers free, 6-hour curated experiences to explore different neighborhoods.
Organizers say each event is limited to 50 residents to keep the experience personal and community-centered.
The Seattle Department of Neighborhoods and the Seattle Chamber of Connection co-created the community-centered event series.
The events aim to bring people together through service, storytelling, shared meals, and support for local small businesses.
The upcoming fall events include:
- Sept. 19 – Hillman City with Hrvst House - Historical neighborhood walking tour with Rainier Valley Historical Society.
- Oct. 10 – Fremont with the Fremont Neighborhood Council - Learn about the history of the Fremont Troll and learn Pickleball basics.
- Oct. 24 – Lake City with the Lake City Community Council - Volunteering and filling backpacks with North Helpline Food Bank.
- Nov. 14 – The Central District with Urban Wellness Retreat - Nostalgia of a rainy day recess.
More information about "Best Day Ever" and the upcoming events can be found here.
