More than 126,000 Washingtonians are living with Alzheimer’s disease, and hundreds of thousands of family members help provide care.

In King County, almost 11 percent of people 65 and older have the disease.

The Alzheimer’s Association is hosting the Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Oct. 3 at Seattle Center to raise awareness and money to fight the disease.

Tyler Quillin and his daughter Taylor Quillin are participating in this year’s walk.
