Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold is "good to go" and is off the injury report for the team's Week 3 matchup against the Washington Commanders, according to ESPN Reporter Adam Schefter.
Darnold was injured during the Seahawks' first offensive drive in the team's season-opening victory against the New England Patriots on Sept. 9.
Original reports were that Darnold suffered a hip injury, but it was later changed to an injury to his glute muscle.
Seahawks Coach Mike Macdonald said the team received 'good news' about the injury in an interview after the win.
Considering the wide range of terrible outcomes that were possible, Macdonald said the Seahawks felt fortunate.
In Darnold's absence, backup QB Drew Lock has played impressively well.
Lock leads the league in quarterback rating through two weeks, and ranks in the top five in yards per attempt and completion percentage.
More importantly, the team played with confidence behind Lock.
