Girl Scout cookie season is adding something new for both two-legged and four-legged fans.

Girl Scout cookie season is adding something new for both two-legged and four-legged fans.

The Girl Scouts have announced Patch Pals, the first Girl Scout cookie made for dogs, along with Sparkables, an allergy-friendly treat for people with food allergies. Both products will be available exclusively online with direct shipping starting Jan. 12, 2027, during the national rollout of the 2027 Girl Scout Cookie season.

Patch Pals are soft-baked, blueberry muffin-flavored dog cookies. Each 8-ounce box contains treats shaped in four designs highlighting Girl Scout themes of community, exploration and play, as well as a trefoil representing the Girl Scouts logo.

"Now every member of the household gets a cookie," said Dave Stangle, vice president of brand marketing at BARK.

"For the first time, the dogs who share our homes and our hearts get to be part of the celebration," said Neha Woodward, vice president of product program management at Girl Scouts of the USA.

The new Girl Scout Sparkables cookies address the needs of families managing food allergies. Developed with Partake, these oatmeal cookies contain chocolate chips and sprinkles and are crafted in a facility designed to avoid the nine major food allergens.

Girl Scout Cookie season is celebrated nationally from January through April, though specific dates can vary by council. Customers can visit girlscoutcookies.org to find a local troop and sign up for notifications about the upcoming season.

Proceeds from cookie sales support Girl Scout troops locally and fund experiences, travel opportunities, community service, science programs and leadership development throughout the year.
