A wild buck wandered into a Florida home, stood over a bathroom sink and swam in a pool before deputies guided it outside.
A Florida man had a wild encounter after a buck wandered into his home, used the bathroom and took a dip in the pool as deputies tried to escort it out.
The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to the home Aug. 23 and found a large buck in the bathroom.
Body camera video shows the homeowner leading deputies inside and pointing out the deer, which was standing over the bathroom sink.
“Oh, that’s a buck,” a deputy can be heard saying in the video.
The video shows deputies setting up barriers around the home in an effort to guide the deer outside.
The deer then runs from the bathroom onto the home’s patio, where it jumps into the pool. Video shows the deer swimming through the pool as deputies continue trying to guide it outside.
The deer eventually runs through a hole in the gate and into a thick grove of trees.
"First time I've had a deer in a house in 23 years in my profession," one of the deputy remarks after the deer scampers into the woods.
