Dalton Police spokesman Bruce Frazier told NewsChannel 9 that a citizen's tip about one of the businesses played a role in the investigation.

Dalton currently has an ordinance preventing new massage parlors from opening. Frazier says city officials want to revisit their rules governing the businesses.

Pierce said Tuesday that he also plans to work with Whitfield County commissioners on an ordinance governing how massage parlors can open and what credentials they must have.

NewsChannel 9 has asked the Whitfield County Sheriff's Office for more information about the investigation and the remaining arrest.
