Two Ryle High School students face charges for having a gun at the school

BOONE COUNTY, Ky. (WKRC) - Two Ryle High School students face charges for having a gun at the school.

On Tuesday, the Boone County Sheriff’s Office learned one student was seen by another with a gun in one of the restrooms on Monday.

Deputies identified two suspects and corroborated what witnesses said they'd seen. Both were taken into custody and taken to the Campbell County Regional Juvenile Detention Center.

There were no reports of injuries or plans to harm students or staff.
