Washington drivers get new Mount St. Helens license plate option

Washington drivers can now show their love for Mount St. Helens on the road.

The new specialty license plate featuring the volcano and a mountain goat is officially available through the state's department of licensing.

Every plate helps fund the Mount St. Helens Institute's work including youth education, trail maintenance, and volunteer programs.

Drivers can apply online or at their local licensing office, with plates taking about a week to arrive.
