A stolen SUV flipped onto its roof in Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood after a chase that began with reports of erratic driving on Highway 509, authorities said.
The crash happened at 1st Avenue South and South Dawson Street in an industrial area of south Seattle, where the SUV rolled and came to rest on its top.
The King County Sheriff’s Office said a Burien police officer spotted the driver traveling erratically and weaving in and out of traffic in the northbound lanes of Highway 509.
The officer began chasing the vehicle as it sped north into Seattle.

The suspect ran from the scene but was later captured, according to the sheriff’s office.
