A semi truck crash blocked a busy ramp in Bellevue on Thursday morning.
The northbound Interstate 405 ramp to eastbound Interstate 90 was closed for hours in the Factoria area.
Photos from the scene showed the truck's trailer on its side and garbage strewn across the ramp.
Washington State Patrol Trooper Rick Johnson said the truck was carrying garbage, which spilled across the road when the truck overturned at around 4 a.m.
“It’s a mess, I mean garbage all over. It’s going to take a while to clean up,” said Trooper Rick Johnson.
Johnson said the truck may have been going too fast around the curve, causing the crash.
No one was hurt.
Crews, tow trucks and a front loader worked for more than five hours to clear the scene.
Around 8:30 a.m., the Washington State Department of Transportation said one dumpster had already been filled with trash.
The ramp reopened at around 8:10 a.m.
