Bothell police on Thursday arrested a suspect on suspicion of first-degree arson at a Fred Meyer store last week.
Bothell police on Thursday arrested a suspect on suspicion of first-degree arson at a Fred Meyer store last week.
On the afternoon of Aug. 4, Bothell Fire Department crews responded to reports of smoke and flames inside the store near Thrasher's Corner.
The fire alarm and sprinkler systems came on, and everyone in the store safely evacuated.
Crews had to ventilate the building.
Through the investigation, Bothell police identified a suspect.
K-9 and drone teams assisted the Bothell Police Department's Investigations Unit and Community Crime Reduction Team with taking the suspect into custody.
