The Washington State Department of Transportation described this weekend of construction work as one of the busiest of the summer.
Drivers in King County are facing a major traffic crunch this weekend, with several highway closures planned across the region.

In addition to Revive I-5 work, northbound Interstate 405 will be closed all weekend between Renton and Bellevue.
Eastbound State Route 520 will be closed from Saturday to Sunday.
State Route 202 will be closed from Thursday night to Monday night.
Ramp closures on Interstate 405 at 85th Street in Kirkland are also continuing.
