Detectives need more information about a hit-and-run crash in Seattle's Georgetown area that left a motorcyclist seriously injured.
On Aug. 22 at 1:25 a.m., Washington State Patrol (WSP) troopers were dispatched to the serious crash involving a motorcycle on State Route 99 near 14th Avenue South.
Troopers arrived to find the rider on the ground with a tourniquet put on by a witness.
Witnesses told troopers the motorcycle was heading north on SR 99 when an unknown vehicle hit the back of the bike, causing it to go down.
The driver who hit the motorcycle then fled.
The rider was taken to Harborview with serious injuries.
