The shooting happened on the off-ramp from southbound State Route 167 to 180th Street in Renton, Troopers said.
The driver of a Volkswagen is accused of firing at the driver of a Dodge Ram, investigators said.
The victim was taken to the hospital with a shoulder wound. As of the latest information available, the injury was described as non-life-threatening, though there were no updates on the victim’s condition.
The suspect was taken into custody, and troopers remained on scene gathering information, WSP said.
This is the second shooting that took place on a freeway in King County this week. On Tuesday, a passenger displayed a gun before firing at a truck on I-90.
