Troopers are looking for witnesses to a road rage drive-by shooting that happened on southbound Interstate 5 last weekend.
At around 4:50 p.m. on Aug. 23, a Sunday, Washington State Patrol (WSP) dispatchers received a 911 call from a driver who said someone in another vehicle had shot at their truck.
Troopers met with the victim and saw that a bullet had pierced the truck's front passenger door and lodged in the passenger seat of their Ford Raptor truck.

The victim told troopers they were on eastbound State Route 18 to southbound I-5 when the road rage incident began with an aggressive driver in a Kia Spectra.
When both vehicles reached southbound I-5 close to South 216th Street near the SeaTac-Des Moines border, the driver of the Kia fired one gunshot at the victim, according to the WSP.
The victim said the driver was a man and a woman was in the front passenger seat.
The Kia sped away after the shot was fired.
