Washington State Patrol (WSP) detectives are seeking witnesses and dash camera footage after a driver was allegedly shot at Tuesday morning on westbound Interstate 90 (I-90) in King County.

State Patrol communications received a 911 call at about 11:05 a.m. from a driver who reported being shot at by another vehicle on westbound I-90, WSP said.

The driver, operating a Ford F-550 towing a box trailer, told troopers he first noticed a dark gray Infiniti G37 at a traffic light near Front Street.

The driver said both vehicles later entered westbound I-90. As they traveled west, a passenger in the Infiniti displayed a firearm several times before allegedly shooting at the driver's side of the Ford, according to State Patrol.

The shooting occurred somewhere between State Route 900 and the West Lake Sammamish Parkway exit, WSP said.

The Infiniti continued westbound on I-90 at a high rate of speed, authorities said.

No injuries were reported in the State Patrol release.

Detectives are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has dash camera footage from the area between 11 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. to contact Detective Bergeron at Judah.Bergeron@wsp.wa.gov.
