Washington State Patrol (WSP) Trooper Rick Johnson said witnesses reported that the semi-truck forced the motorcycle into a barrier.
A crash blocked all lanes of State Route 18 west of the Tiger Mountain Summit Friday morning.
The westbound lanes reopened a short time later. All eastbound lanes reopened at 10 a.m.
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) reported the closure around 8:45 a.m.
Troopers said the crash that involved a semi and a motorcycle occurred in the eastbound lanes. A passenger on the motorcycle was seriously hurt.
