Three people were injured in a shooting early Monday after gunfire erupted at a party inside a short-term rental in Seattle, according to police.
Officers responded around 12:45 a.m. to reports of shots fired in the 2800 block of 10th Avenue East.
When officers arrived, they found an Airbnb that had been rented for a party and determined it was the primary location of the shooting. Police said no one at the residence appeared to be injured when officers first arrived.
As officers investigated, three adults, two men and one woman, arrived separately at local hospitals with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Police said the victims were driven to the hospitals by others rather than waiting for emergency responders.
Detectives with the Seattle Police Department's Gun Violence Reduction Unit responded to the scene and Harborview Medical Center to investigate.
Police have not released information about what led to the shooting or whether any suspects have been identified. The investigation remains ongoing.
