Two juveniles were wounded in a shooting in Tacoma on Thursday evening, according to Tacoma police.
The shooting happened around 5:50 p.m. in the 1700 block of South 37th Street, a Tacoma Police Department spokesperson said.
Both victims were outside when the shooting occurred and suffered grazing wounds, according to police. A Tacoma Fire Department spokesperson said both victims were taken to local hospitals.
Police did not immediately release the ages or genders of the victims or say whether they are related.
Two adults who fled the scene were later captured by officers and taken into custody in connection with the shooting, according to police. They face charges of first-degree assault and possession of a stolen vehicle.
What led up to the shooting was not immediately known.
